Note: CURRENTLY NOT IN OPERATION New Zealand might have invented jetboats, and claim to be the Adventure Capital of the World. But it’s in St John that you’ll find the world’s most thrilling jetboat ride, as the extreme tides of the Bay of Fundy rush into the St John River, creating Class-5 like rapids to spin, whirl and crash against. With no dangerous rocks or hazards, jetboating among the waves is just about the most fun you can have on water, anywhere.

Note from Robin : After 19 years in operation, Reversing Falls Jetboat Rides shut shop. We’re hoping they managed to sell it to someone else to get those boats back and spinning on the water in the near future. Don’t even try capturing this with a waterproof camera. Just hold on and enjoy the ride. You’re going to get wet, so make sure you have something dry to change into afterwards.
