Canada’s only member-owned and volunteer-run raceway, the Wyant Group Raceway is a fine, oval track that hosts stock cars, pro-trucks, super-late models, and one of only two official NASCAR events in Western Canada. Orientation days give bucket listers the opportunity to suit up, crash helmet and all, and slip into the crash cage of a high-powered stock car. First you’ll take the passenger seat as a professional driver screams the car around the track. Then you can take the wheel yourself, drop the hammer for ten thrilling laps, and see if you’ve got what it takes to live your own day of thunder. Just remember: after ticking stock car racing in Saskatoon off your bucket list, you’ll need to stick to the speed limit when returning to the roads of reality.

Note from Robin : It’s going to get loud. These cars growl and roar, and you can quickly see why the need for speed can fast become an addiction. Listen to your driver as he instructs you about taking corners. Be weary of driving BYT – beyond your talent level. For those interested in continuing their speedster education, the Raceway has various programs to introduce drivers and kids into the world of racing.
